Established in 1973, Scott’s Orchard & Nursery is a family-run farm and garden center located in the heart of Glastonbury, Connecticut. We grow what we sell — from homegrown hanging baskets to sun-ripened peaches & more!
In the Summer and Fall, our orchard welcomes visitors for pick-your-own fruit or to grab fresh-picked produce straight from our farm stand. Our full-sized garden center is stocked with homegrown annuals, trees, shrubs, and landscaping specimens! Whether you're planting a flower bed, mulching your yard, or filling a basket with fruit from our trees, we’re here to help — with local knowledge, friendly service, and a down-to-earth approach that’s been in our roots for over 50 years!

Prices are outrageous. They aren't slightly elevated, they are insane. I shop at several nurseries. I was so disappointed because the stock is beautiful but im not looking to pay a mortgage for a small bush. Plenty of other nurseries. I will never go back.

We visited Scott’s Orchard and Nursery last week for apple, blueberry, and peach picking, and it was a fantastic experience. The orchard was beautifully maintained, with a wide variety of fruits to pick. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. My 5-year-old absolutely loved it. It was a joy to watch them run around and pick their own fruits. The orchard is very family-friendly, with plenty of space for children to explore safely. The quality of the fruits was excellent, and we ended up with a basket full of delicious apples, blueberries, and peaches. Overall, it was a great day out, and we will definitely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun and wholesome activity with family or friends.

We go apple picking every year at Scott's. Love this place! Also very easy to keep your distance from others, especially if you go early! Go on their FB page to get the latest info on what is ripe for picking.
